Main Menu and Settings – Mobile

CLIPKICK is available on Apple, Android, and desktop computers via the most popular commercial browsers. When you save media in any platform it will be available on all platforms. However, when it comes to settings and features, there are some only available on mobile (like lineup reordering) and some only available on the desktop web app, like monetization features including tipping, paywall, and affiliate programs. We recommend that you download the CLIPKICK mobile app for iPhone or Android, even if you primarily use our web app so you have access to all the features in settings.

In the mobile app, the main menu is located on the top right corner of the My Clips page.

On the main menu, you will see:

Settings

Manage your account and other features.

Received files

Here you can see all the lineups and media your connections have shared with you. Here you can also revoke the share on any file or lineup.

My Plan

Here you can see your current subscription plan, current usage for file storage, number of connections, and number of links saved and you can upgrade or downgrade your plan here. To cancel your plan on mobile you must go to your IOS Apple or Android settings.

Deleted media

When you delete a file in CLIPKICK we keep the file in your deleted file folder for 30 days. Here you can restore any deleted file to a lineup and see how many days before files are permanently deleted. All files in the deleted files folder are counted in your memory usage allotment until they are permanently deleted.

Quick tour

This activates the quick tour prompts in the mobile interface to guide you through CLIPKICK’s features. This is the same tour that activates when you first register and open CLIPKICK.Open the quick tour at any time for a refresher on how to use CLIPKICK’s features

Mobile Settings

Click settings in the main menu to open your settings page.

Account

Here you can update your name, screen name, bio, website, and all your social media links. Social media links appear on your profile page or paywall. Profile pages can only be seen by registered users of CLIPKICK, but if you have a paywall set up the paywall description page and plans are available to the public. You can also update your email, and phone, or change your password here.

Blocked users

See all of the users you have blocked and unblock them if you like.

Set theme

Set the app display to light, dark, or system default mode.

Require Face or Biometric ID

As an added privacy and security feature, you can activate face ID for IOS and biometric ID for Android here. When activated, this security check will engage whenever you open CLIPKICK on your mobile device.

Compress video upload

You can set your mobile app to compress videos before they upload. This reduces upload time and saves space in your CLIPKICK cloud, however the videos will lose some quality.  If you would like to keep the original videos at their highest quality, deselect this feature.

You user profile by default is available when other registered CLIPKICK users search for people to connect with. These users can’t see your media unless you connect and share media with them, but they can see your profile name, image, bio, and social links.  If you would like to be included in CLIPKICK search results, de-select this feature.

Deactivate your account

You can deactivate your account here if you would like to take a break from CLIPKICK.  You can reactivate your account within the next 30 days by logging into CLIPKICK. After 30 days your account and files will be permanently deleted.

Delete your account

Here you can permanently delete your account and all your files.  Everything will be deleted immediately. If you have a paid subscription you must also cancel your subscription with Apple, android, or on the web app.
