Sometimes you see a creator out there that’s ubiquitous. You see them everywhere. Their content is everywhere. How is this possible? Then when you look at the source, you can see it’s not the creator directly sharing the content, but actually other people are sharing the content for them. We have learned that’s how creators get exponential reach, it’s not enough to grow your own social accounts, you need to inspire others to share your content for you.
How does that work? Why would people upload and share content that isn’t their own for you? How it works is you recruit other people to share your content. These people are called affiliates, and your affiliates get a percentage of the revenue of any of the products that they sell for you. To do this you need the technology to let you provide the content, tracking links, and distribute the revenue. This is what you can do with CLIPKICK. It’s a proven way to get famous on the internet and make money.
So, if you want to set up an affiliate to help you sell your e-book, for example a book reviewer, you select Paywall from your desktop dropdown menu (Paywall and affiliates can only be managed in the desktop webapp, not in the mobile apps) and hit the Manage Affiliate button. Click Add Affiliate, and all your connections appear. If the affiliate you want to bring on is not a registered with CLIPKICK and connected to you, you needs to invite the person to join first. You select the connection that you want to become an affiliate, enter the percentage you would like to share with them for each e-book sold, and click Submit. The affiliate will receive an email and notification in their CLIPKICK account with their affiliate link.
When anyone the affiliate invites to CLIPKICK clicks on their link and subscribes to any of your paywall plans they will automatically make the percentage you determined for the paywall subscription, minus CLIPKICK and transaction fees. So, as an example, if you’re selling a book or learning program, you can share 50% of the revenue, make your content available to them through a CLIPKICK shared lineup set to allow for saving and downloading. Then, if someone buys a monthly subscription through the affiliate link, the affiliate makes their percentage every month, and you get more sales.
*Paywall affiliates make a percentage of paywall subscription fees, excluding tipping revenue. All paywall and tipping payments are transacted through our partner Stripe and are subject to transaction fees. CLIPKICK keeps 15% of each transaction for the platform service, subject to our terms of service. Your Paywall, tipping, and affiliate back office is only available in our desktop web application and cannot be managed in our mobile applications.
